We would rather keep our fees modest and ensure that our clients are good environmental stewards than charge "big firm" rates and help our clients avoid their legal responsibilities. While that is our guiding principle, we do understand that regulators sometimes go well beyond the requirements of the law or the accepted science in their environmental permitting, compliance and enforcement decisions. We look for practical, cost-effective solutions to environmental problems and would prefer to see our clients' financial resources spent on clean-ups rather than legal fees. But when litigation is necessary to protect our clients' interests, we are ready, willing and able to advocate our clients' claim in federal and state court.
